May 7-8 2019, the 21st Meeting of the Working Subgroup on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Illegal Migration (WSCTPIM), under the chair of the Moldavian Side, took place on the premises of GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv. Delegations of all GUAM Member States took part in the meeting.
The delegations discussed the state of play of legislation and current situation in the GUAM Member States with regard to human trafficking and countering illegal migration, international activities and cooperation in this field.
The Sides decided to organize the visiting mission of the delegation of GUAM Member States to the Centre of combating human trafficking in the Republic of Moldova as well as to hold a training (seminar) on the premises of the National Academy of Border Guards of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi.
The next meeting of the Subgroup would be held in September of 2019.
