On September 22-23, 2008 in Kyiv, in the framework of the Working Group on Economy and Trade (WGET), the meeting of experts with the purpose to discuss issues of introduction of Grain Warehouse Warrant System took place. Besides the experts from the GUAM Member States and the GUAM Secretariat, there were also the representatives of Bulgaria, Serbia, the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and US Agency for International Development.In particular, experts discussed the issues of elaborating and implementing the Grain Warehouse Warrant System in all GUAM Member States as well as perspectives of its further development and application.
