The 3rd meeting of the Working Group on Science and Education was held via videoconference on October 28, 2025 under the chairmanship of Georgia. The meeting was attended by representatives of national science and education authorities of the GUAM Member States and the Secretariat.
Participants exchanged information on main changes in functioning of education systems, including under state of war conditions, overviewed issues of adaptation of education system in the GUAM member states to European and world standards as well as international recognition of the GUAM Member States’ educational diplomas/certificates.
Members of the Group underscored the importance of further development of the GUAM Member States’ cooperation in the fields of general secondary, vocational, secondary specialized, higher and postgraduate education and expressed readiness to further strengthen coordination and interaction to ensure implementation of Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministries of Education of the GUAM Member States.
