On April 2-3, 2015, the 14th meeting of the Working Group on Economy and Trade took place on the premises of the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv under the Georgian Presidency. This event involved representatives from relevant agencies, from the embassies of GUAM member states, and also representatives of the GUAM Secretariat.
Participants in the meeting discussed drafts of the ‘Protocol on regulations determining the country origin of goods to the Agreement on Creating a Free Trade Zone between GUUAM member states’, and the ‘Protocol on the procedure for the creation and activity of a working body to coordinate the actions of parties to the Agreement on Creating a Free Trade Zone between GUUAM member states’, which are dated July 20, 2002.
Participants also exchanged views regarding the possibility of creating a common GUAM market.
The next meeting of the Working Group will take place in the second half of 2015. The date and place of this event shall be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
