17-18 November 2016, the 15th Meeting of the Working Group on Economy and Trade at the level of Deputy Ministers of the relevant authorities of the GUAM Member States was held at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv, chaired by the Georgian side.
During the meeting, the draft Protocol on the Rules for Determining the Country of Origin of Goods to the Agreement on the Establishment of a Free Trade Area between the GUUAM Member States, the Rules for Determining the Country of Origin of Goods and the Draft Protocol on the approval of the Regulations of establishment and activity of the Working Body coordinating the actions of the Contracting Parties to the Agreement on the Establishment of a Free Trade Area between the GUUAM Member States dated July 20, 2002, were agreed, and an agreement was reached to recommend these documents for undergoing domestic procedures for the purpose of their signing during the Meeting of the Prime Ministers of the GUAM Member States.
The next meeting of the Working Group will take place in the first half of 2017. Its date and venue will be agreed through diplomatic channels.
