The 16th regular meeting of the Working Group on emergency situations was held in the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv on June 19-20, 2017 under the chair of the Georgian Side.
The Group has fixed priorities for the current year of its activities. In particular, the Parties agreed to consider the issue of implementation of experience sharing visit to Israel or one of EU Member States, and also to monitor and facilitate possible education of students in educational institutions within emergency service of Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
Also, the Sides come in terms to agreed upon GUAM project on evaluation of natural and man-made risks and the ways of rehabilitation of territories affected by military conflicts and emergencies.
The next meeting of the Group will be convened in Odessa, 2017.
