11 January 2024, the 16th session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, chaired by the Head of the delegation of the Parliament of Ukraine, was held online in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual understanding. The session was attended by parliamentary delegations of all GUAM Member States.
The Parliamentary Assembly provided information on the current situation in the GUAM region and beyond, expressed support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the GUAM Member States, and discussed issues of international cooperation.
The Parliamentary Assembly decided to transfer the Chairmanship of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly to the Republic of Azerbaijan. On the eve of the session, the Bureau of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly was also held.
