On November 21-22, 2016 the 18th Meeting of the Working Subgroup on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Illegal Migration (WSCTPIM), under the chair of the Moldavian Side, took place on the premises of GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv. Delegations of all GUAM Member States took part in the meeting.
WSCTPIM proposed that the Sides would prepare statistical and analytical data on combating trafficking in persons and illegal migration to be submitted at its next meeting.
WSCTPIM took note of the proposal of the Ukrainian Side on the possibility of training seminar on the use of criminal operative analysis in the arrangements on countering illegal migration and trafficking in persons to be held at the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in Khmelnitsky.
WSCTPIM has also agreed on the issues of the agenda of the working visit of GUAM delegation to the headquarters of SELEC, Bucharest; approved the report for 2016 and proposals to the plan of 2017, as well as the coordination of the Subgroup for the next biennial period on the part of the Moldavian Side.
The next meeting of the Subgroup will be held in April-May of 2017.
