On December 12-13, 2013, the 19th Meeting of the GUAM Trade and Transport Facilitation Project Steering Committee of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, involving representatives of GUAM member-states, representatives of external economic actors, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the GUAM Secretariat.

The Parties listened to information regarding work being carried out to realise the Trade and Transport Facilitation Project, received information on facilitating procedures for moving goods and vehicles through border crossings, as well as discussing issues pertaining to the Development Concept of the GUAM TTF. They also approved the text of the “Protocol between the customs administrations of GUAM member-states on organising the exchange of preliminary information on goods and vehicles transiting across the state borders of GUAM member states”.

The TTF PSC agreed to host the next meeting of the TTF Project Steering Committee in the Republic of Moldova in the first half of 2014. The date and venue of the meeting shall be agreed upon through diplomatic channels.
