27-28 February 2020, the 52nd meeting of the GUAM Council of National Coordinators took place in the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv with the participation of M. Mammad-Guliev, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Chairman); V. Makharoblishvili, the First Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; T. Molcean, State Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova; V. Bodnar, Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; and A. Efendiev, GUAM Secretary General.
The GUAM Council of National Coordinators took into account the priorities of the Chairmanship of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2020 and agreed on the Events Agenda for the current year. The issues of political, interparliamentary and sectoral cooperation, as well as the interaction with the partner states in format GUAM+, particularly with the USA and Japan, were also discussed.
