On September 27-28, 2018, in Chișinău, under the chairmanship of the head of the delegation for the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, the 11th session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly took place with the participation of delegations of the GUAM Member States, representatives of partner organizations and high-level guests.

During the session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, the perspectives of sectoral cooperation between the GUAM Member States, ways to ensure information security in the GUAM region as well as the possibility of interaction of the GUAM Member States within the international organizations were discussed.

On the eve of the session of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, on September 27, 2018, the 12th session of the Bureau of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly took place with the participation of delegations of the GUAM Member States as well as the 3rd Joint Meeting of the Committees of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, the results of which were reflected in the decisions of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly.

In addition, a regular meeting of members of the Bureau of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly and the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly took place.

As a result of the meeting, the Communiqué of the GUAM PA and the Joint Statement of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly and the Baltic Assembly were adopted.
