17 September 2020, a webinar on blockchain was held via videoconference, in which representatives of the ministries and departments of the GUAM Member States responsible for issuing and verifying certificates of origin, and the GUAM Secretariat took part.
The Parties heard information about the blockchain system and its application in the public sector, as well as the use of blockchain in the registration of the certificate of origin of goods. The recommendations will be developed based on the results of the webinar.
