22 November 2016, the 3rd Meeting of representatives of the interdepartmental group was held at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv, in which the Permanent Representatives of the GUAM Member States, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, the International Chamber of Commerce, relevant ministries and departments of Ukraine, and the Secretariat staffs took part.
The participants heard the information of the Secretary General on the implementation of the agreements on preparation for the meeting of the Prime Ministers of the GUAM Member States and the Business Forum, reached at the last meeting of the interdepartmental group (October 20), and discussed the organizational and practical issues related to the above events. In particular, the Deputy Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Mr. M. Titarchuk provided preliminary information on the program of the meeting of the Prime Ministers; the President of the International Chamber of Commerce Mr. V. Shchelkunov provided provisional information on the preparation of the Business Forum.
Within the interdepartmental group, the Ambassadors of the Republic of Moldova and Georgia to Ukraine confirmed the participation of the delegations of their countries at the above-mentioned meeting and presented the proposals for organizing and holding this meeting and the Business Forum.
The participants agreed to hold a regular working meeting at the GUAM Secretariat on November 29, 2016.
