2 December 2021, the 38th meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) was held in Stockholm on the sidelines of the 28th OSCE Ministerial meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr J.Bayramov; the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mr D.Zalkaliani; the Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Mr N.Popescu; the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr D.Kuleba; Secretary General of GUAM Mr A.Efendiev.
The CMFA discussed the issue of political interaction in the GUAM format, sectoral cooperation, interaction with partner countries and other states. The Decision on transferring the Chairmanship in the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM to the Republic of Moldova was signed during the meeting.
