The 19th Meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives (CPR) of the GUAM Member States was held in the premises of the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv on October 1, 2025, attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Seymur Mardaliyev, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Ukraine H.E. Mr. George Zakarashvili (online), the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Valeriu Chiveri, Head of Division for Türkiye and South Caucasus, 2 Territorial Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. Ihor Roman, GUAM Secretary General Mr. Altai Efendiev.
On the eve of the forthcoming 28th GUAM Anniversary, CPR recalled the remarkable international events paving the way to peace and stability in the region, restoration of international order, territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Member States. The CPR also exchanged views on the trends of the GUAM development in the past years and the actual challenges to cooperation of the Member States and reviewed the activities of the Organization in the current year.
The SG informed CPR of the events that were held, planned, and those that required collaboration with the Chairmanship.
