On June 3-5, 2014, the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv hosted a meeting between financial experts from GUAM member states. The meeting was attended by the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Repiblic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine, Mr. N. Aliyev and the Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. T. Kiladze, as well as the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine, Mr. V. Saranciuk, and the Director of the Planning and Methodology Bureau of the Financial and Currency Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Mr. A. Ryzaev.
In terms of the meeting’s results, participants reviewed the GUAM draft budget for 2015 so that it may be submitted for approval by the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of GUAM member states.
Within the framework of this meeting, financial experts from GUAM member states also continued working on a new version of GUAM’s Financial Rules and Regulations.
