In the period of 13-26th February in Tokyo, Japan, JICA seminar for GUAM member countries on “Tourism Promotion and Marketing: Targeting the Japanese Market” was held with the participation of representatives of tour administrations, tourist operators of GUAM member countries and Program Coordinator of GUAM Secretariat Mr. S.Tamirov.

Agenda of seminar included issues of development and promotion of common tourist product GUAM to Japanese market, exploring opportunities of Japanese touristic business, law and regulation base in tourism sphere, as well as role and activities of Japan National Tourism Organization.
During the seminar participants presented common tourist product of GUAM for interested Japanese tour companies and took part in media gathering organized by company Mile post.
