We, the members of the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly, disgusted by continuous war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Russia,

express our most heartfelt condolences to the Ukrainian society that repeatedly has to experience war atrocities executed by Russia;

fully support the Joint statement on the need to prosecute Russia’s international crimes in Ukraine of the chairmen of the foreign affairs committees of 19 countries and the European Parliament adopted on 30 January 2023;

strongly encourage the Member States of the European Union and NATO to support Ukraine in every possible way to ensure rapid victory of Ukraine thus protecting Ukrainian citizens from even more suffering and destruction;

call for immediate efforts to investigate war crimes and crimes against humanity at the International Criminal Court, but also to create an international tribunal for the investigation of the violent and incomprehensible crimes committed by Russian military forces thereby ensuring that war criminals are brought to justice.
