On 27 April 2009, the 16th meeting of the GUAM Council of National Coordinators (CNC) took place in GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.
The issues of on going cooperation in GUAM format were discussed, inter alia issues of «Eastern Partnership» initiative, promotion of Draft Resolution of UN GA «Protracted conflicts in the GUAM area and their implications for international peace, security and development» and the sectoral cooperation.
The Sides decided to hold the next meeting of CNC in the second half of June, and to consider the possibility to hold next meeting of Council of Ministers for foreign affairs (CMFA) till the end of June 2009.
