The 27th Meeting of the Working Group on Emergency Assistance was held online on July 22, 2025, attended by the representatives of the GUAM Member States national emergency authorities and the Secretariat.
At the meeting delegations exchanged information on humanitarian demining of de-occupied territories, current tasks of Emergency Services to protect territories and assist population, discussed the development of national Emergency Alert Systems to increase community preparedness and resilience as well as activities related to elimination of the consequences of natural and man-made disasters. Special attention was paid to further development of the GUAM Member States cooperation in the field of Emergency Assistance, including on sharing experience in the respective Emergency Assistance areas.
