On 29 October 2009, the GUAM Secretariat participated and delivered its presentation at the International Conference “Dynamics of the EU-NATO-Russia Relations: Place and Prospects for Ukraine”, which was held in connection with 175th anniversary of the Kyiv Taras Shevcnenko National University and 65th anniversary of the Institute of International Relations and its Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy.
The leading Ukrainian politicians, scientists and experts in foreign policy and diplomacy took place in the conference, including First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Ogryzko, Chairman of the Verhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on European Integration Mr. Borys Tarasyuk, Director of the Institute of National Security Problems of Ukraine Mr. Volodymyr Horbulin, Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine under the Ministry of Foreign Policy of Ukraine Mr. Borys Gumenyuk, Director of the Institute of International Relations of the Kyiv Taras Shevcnenko National University Mr. Valeriy Kopiyka, Director General of the Centre of International and Comparative Studies Mr. Anatoliy Orel, Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Razumkov Centre of Economic and Political Studies Mr. Valeriy Chalyi, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Mr. Ihor Dolgov, Mr. Oleksandr Chalyi and others.
