8 December 2020, the 18th Meeting of the GUAM Working Group on Transport was held in the online format at the level of the Heads of Transport Institutions of the GUAM Member States with the participation of the GUAM Secretariat and the representatives of Japan and the State of Israel.
The participants exchanged information on the development of transport infrastructure in the GUAM Member States and emphasized the importance of the developed initiatives aimed at information and logistics support of cargo transportation in the region.
The participants noted the importance of attracting GUAM partners to the implementation of the project for the creation of the GUAM Transport Corridor and turned to them with proposals to participate in the preparation of the Feasibility Study for its development.
Following the meeting, a Joint Statement was adopted by the Heads of Transport Institutions of the GUAM Member States responsible for the development of transport.
