26 April 2022, the 20th Meeting of the Working Group on Transport was held via videoconference, in which representatives of relevant departments of the GUAM Member States and the Secretariat took part.

At the meeting, the Parties considered the features of the GUAM Transport Corridor function under the blockade of sea routes on the Black Sea in connection with the hostilities in Ukraine, as well as the routes for the resumption of the goods transportation from Ukraine/Moldova to Georgia/Azerbaijan and back using existing land and multimodal routes. The issues of cooperation with the EU on the use and development of the GUAM Transport Corridor through the available land routes between Asia and Europe were discussed.

In addition, the possibilities of transporting and transiting humanitarian cargo to Ukraine along the GUAM Transport Corridor were analyzed, taking into account the subsequent adaptation of the regulatory framework to solve the problems.
