28 December 2020, the 36th Meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs (CMFA) was held in the format of a video conference which was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov (Chairperson of the Meeting); Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Zalkaliani; Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Aureliu Ciocoi; Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar and the GUAM Secretary General Altai Efendiev.
The CMFA considered the issues of political interaction in GUAM format, the inter-parliamentary cooperation and development of sectoral collaboration. Additionally, the issues of interaction with other countries and international organizations were discussed. At the meeting, it was decided to transfer the Chairmanship in the Organization to Georgia.
