22 September 2021, in New York, on the sidelines of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly, the 37th Meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs (CMFA) was held, which was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan J. Bayramov; the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia D. Zalkaliani; the Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova N. Popescu; the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine D. Kuleba; Secretary General of GUAM A. Efendiev.
During the meeting, the Parties discussed the issues of political interaction, inter-parliamentary and sectoral cooperation within the GUAM. In addition, they considered possibilities of developing cooperation with partner states, other countries and international organizations, as well as establishing the Permanent Group on Strategic Communications.
