26 April 2021, the 3rd Meeting of the Working Group on Blockchain held within the GUAM Trade and Transportation Facilitation Project Steering Committee, which was attended by the relevant departments’ representatives of the Member States and the GUAM Secretariat.
The parties heard information from the Secretariat on the results of the 33rd Meeting of the GUAM Trade and Transportation Facilitation Project Steering Committee, as well as information from the Azerbaijan and Georgia sides on the fulfilled work concerning automation of certificates of origin verification.
The participants agreed to hold the next meeting of the working group at the end of May 2021 with the invitation of representatives of the legal departments of customs departments and to discuss the implementation of regulatory documents for the application of blockchain technologies.
