On 9 April, 2009 GUAM Secretary General Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili took part in the international scientific Conference “60th anniversary of Council of Europe: assessing of results and perspective of activities in the 21st century”.
Secretary General through his address to the Opening Session of the Conference hailed the role of Council of Europe as the promoter of the pan-European democracy and stability, informed about the goals and objectives of GUAM and perspectives of cooperation between two Organizations.
