On 6th December 2010 the President, Head of International Centre for Public Diplomacy within the Association for Promotion of international Business and Development Mr. A.Melnik and young activists of Center of Children Diplomacy of Kremenchug city visited GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.
In his adress GUAM Secretary General Mr.V.Chechelashvili provided to participants of the meeting information about the history of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, its goals and objectives. Secretary General particularly focused on programs and projects in “GUAM” and “GUAM+” formats, inter alia, implementation of Free Trade Zone, GUAM Transport transit corridor and GUAM-Japan Joint tourist product.
Special attention was given to perspectives of GUAM cooperation with Visegrad Group countries, USA, Japan as well as International organizations (UN, EU).
Secretary General answered the questions of the participants.
The meeting was concluded by informal exchange of views during the coffee session.
