On March 10-12, 2010 in Tbilisi the Third Conference “Transferring the Experience of the Vishegrad Cooperation to the Western Balkans and the Eastern Neighborhood in the Context of Enlarging Europe” took place. Opening session was addressed by Prof. Istvan Gyarmati, ICDT President, Mrs. Tamar Beruchashvili, First Deputy State Minister of Georgia for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Mr. David Jalagania, GUAM National Coordinator, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Mr. Robert Liddell, First Counselor and Head of the Political, Economic and Information Section, EU Delegation, Tbilisi and Ambassador Mr. Kristof Forrai, Head Regional Cooperation Unit, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the republic of Hungary.

Secretary General of the Organization for democracy and economic development – GUAM Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili addressed the Conference during Session 1: The Role of Economic Integration and Competition in Regional Cooperation.
Secretary General informed participants about the role and place of GUAM in the network of international relations, its advantages, modalities of interaction with neighboring international organizations, goals and objectives, on-going project and programs, external partnership cooperation.

Secretary General moderated Joint Session: Presentation of Regional Conclusions and Discussion on Common Themes and Opportunities for Cooperation.
