September 7, 2017, Odesa, GUAM Secretary General Altai Efendiev and Program Coordinator Sabuhi Tamirov took part in the Exporters and Investors Council under the МFA of Ukraine, at the invitation of the Head of the Department of Economic Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Deputy Head of the Council O. Danyleiko.
The GUAM Secretary General noted that in order to increase the effectiveness of interaction it is necessary to create mechanisms for feedback between business and working bodies of GUAM which will allow timely discussion of mutually interesting issues with the purpose of finding ways to solve them, for the implementation of which work is being done to establish the GUAM Business Cooperation Association.
Altai Efendiev also invited the representatives of the Exporters and Investors Council under the МFA of Ukraine to participate in the founding meeting of the GUAM Business Cooperation Association and, thereby, promote the effective development of GUAM Free Trade Area and GUAM Transport Corridor.
