Article 20. Ensuring the National Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Information Sphere
20.1. Ensuring the national security of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the information sphere is the implementation of a set of measures aimed at protecting state, public and individual information resources, as well as protecting national interests in the information sphere.
20.2. The main measures to ensure national security of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the information sphere are:
20.2.1. creation and strengthening of the national system of information protection in the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as state information resources;
20.2.2. collection of objective and forward-looking data in order to implement information support for decision-making by state bodies and officials;
20.2.3. development of information infrastructure;
20.2.4. improvement of legal mechanisms for preserving state secrets;
20.2.5. combating cybercrime;
20.2.6. ensuring information security and freedom.
