On July 8, 2026, at the premises of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova (country-coordinator in the GUAM Working Group on Economy and Trade) in Chișinău, Program Coordinator of the Secretariat of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM Mr. Sabuhi Tamirov met with the Head of Department of International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, Ms. Inetta Panurco.
At the meeting, the issues of ongoing cooperation within GUAM Working Group on Economy and Trade was discussed, as well as the implementation of the decisions of 20th Meeting of WGET. It was also agreed to hold the next Meeting of the Working Group in offline format in Chișinău in Autumn 2026.
The issues of conducting of the next Meeting of the Working Body coordinating the activities of the Contracting Parties to the “Agreement on Establishment of Free Trade Area between the GUUAM Participating States” in the second half of 2026 was also discussed during the meeting.
