The 28th Meeting of the Working Group on Emergency Assistance was held online on September 16, 2026, attended by the representatives of the GUAM Member States national emergency authorities and the Secretariat.
During the Meeting, participants exchanged information on emergency preparedness and response to protect territories and assist population, including under state of war conditions; discussed current trends in the GUAM Member States emergency management, experience of humanitarian demining of de-occupied territories, cooperation with international partners-states and international organizations.
The issues of recent practice and challenges for the Member States in eliminating the consequences of natural and man-made disasters as well as using of modern technologies for emergency preparedness and response were also discussed during the Meeting.
