May 21, 2018, in the GUAM Secretariat hosted the 10th Meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of GUAM Member States which was attended by G. Dumbadze, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia; R. Bolbochan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Moldova (Chairman); A. Kononenko, Ambassador at Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; E. Baqirov, Counselor of the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Ukraine; A. Efendiev, GUAM Secretary General and T. Kiladze, Program Coordinator. The meeting was also attended by M. Movchan, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine on European Integration.
During the meeting, Sides discussed the results of Experts Meeting on the harmonization of the Protocol on the Rules for the Determination of the Goods Origin’s Country to the Agreement on Establishment of Free Trade Area between the GUUAM Participating States (Baku, 15.05.2018), as well as the 1st Meeting of the Working Body coordinating the activity of the Contracting Parties to the Agreement on Establishment of Free Trade Area between the GUUAM Participating States (GUAM Secretariat, 18.05.18). In addition, it was discussed the issues of preparation of the Meeting of the Heads of Governments of the GUAM Member States and the Business Forum to be held in Chisinau.
Within the Meeting, it was also considered the issues of expanding cooperation of the GUAM Member States in youth and sports.
