On June 11, 2013, the Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili, attended the Fourth Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA), which took place in Ankara.
The Secretary General addressed participants in the Plenary Session with a welcome speech and informed them about the main priority activities of the Organization, its goals and objectives, the development of cooperation within the Organization during the last year under Georgia’s Presidency, in addition to the programmes and projects implemented in the “GUAM” and “GUAM+” formats, and cooperation existing between GUAM and other international organisations.
