On June 7th 2011 GUAM Secretary General Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili met with representatives of “Youth Diplomatic Initiative” in GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.
Secretary General provided information about the history of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, its goals and objectives as well as positioning of the Organization in the network of international relations.
Secretary General particularly focused on programs and projects in “GUAM” and “GUAM+” formats and informed the audience about the development of cooperation in the field of combating organized crime, on implementation of Free Trade Zone Agreement, GUAM Transport Transit Corridor, GUAM-Japan Joint tourist product, as well as GUAM cooperation with USA, Japan, Czech Republic and Poland, and International Organizations (UN, OSCE, IRU and ICDT).
Secretary General answered the questions of the participants.
