On March 13, 2013, as part of this working visit to the Unites States of America, the Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili, delivered a presentation on GUAM activities at the Kennan Institute, Woodrow Wilson International Centre.
The Secretary General presented on the stages of development for the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, its goals and objectives, the positioning of Organization in the international relations system, its main areas of activities, as well as cooperation within the GUAM+ framework.
The Secretary General also answered participants’ questions.
The Acting Director of the Kennan Institute, Mr. Will Pomerants, moderated the presentation.
