On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of GUAM, the jubilee Summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM took place in Vilnius on 10 October 2007.
In the Summit, which was held in an extended format, are participated the Presidents Ilham Aliev of Azerbaijan, Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia, Victor Yushchenko of Ukraine, the Head of the Delegation of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of the Member States and Secretary General of GUAM as well as the Presidents Valdis Zatlers of Latvia, Valdas Adamkus of Lithuania, Lech Kaczynski of Poland, US Deputy Secretary of Energy Klay Cell.
In the results of the Summit, the Statement of the GUAM Vilnius Summit was adopted.
The jubilee GUAM Summit took place within the framework of the Energy Forum.
