Meeting of Financial Experts of GUAM Member-states

On May 28-30, 2013, the Meeting of Financial Experts from GUAM Member-states took place at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.

This event involved the following officials: Mr. R. Agazade, Head of the Financial and Currency Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mr. N. Aliyev, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine; Mr. T. Kiladze, Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Mrs. N. Maximciuc, First Secretary of the Regional Cooperation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova; Mr. V. Saranciuk, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine; and Mr. I. Prymachenko, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Administration and Record Keeping of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

In terms of the meeting’s results, participants reviewed the GUAM draft budget for 2014 so that it may be submitted for approval by the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of GUAM member states.

Within the meeting’s framework, financial experts from GUAM member states also continued to work on a new version of the GUAM Financial Rules and Regulations.
