On May 29-31, 2012, the Meeting of Financial Experts of GUAM member-states took place at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv with the participation of Mr. N. Alyev, Head of the Financial and Currency Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Mr. T. Kiladze, Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Mrs. I. Yarosh, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance and Administration and Record Keeping of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine; and Mr. V. Saranciuk, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine.
In terms of the results of Meeting, the draft budget of GUAM for 2013 was considered, adjusted and sent to the GUAM member-states in order to be approved at the country level.
Within the framework of the Meeting, financial experts from GUAM member states also continued to work on the new version of the GUAM Financial Rules and Regulations.
