On April 18, 2014, a meeting took place in Kyiv between the Secretary General of GUAM, Valeri Chechelashvili, and Ukrainian diplomat Bohdan Yaremenko, the Chairman of the Board of “Maydan of International Affairs”.
The parties discussed the possible consequences of the Russian Federation’s aggressive policy against neighbouring countries, in particular Ukraine, as well as their impact on the international security system.
The parties agreed on further cooperation and the joint implementation of regional cooperation projects.
