On November 5, 2012, a meeting took place between GUAM Secretary General Mr. Valeri Chechelashvili and the Director and President of the Board of the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (Greece), Dr. Nikolaos Kanellopulos. The event was hosted by the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv.
During the meeting, the Secretary General informed his guest about the main priorities of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM, as well as its goals and objectives. The priorities of cooperation, in relation to the implementation of European Union programmes within the framework of the Eastern Partnership framework, were also discussed.
