On 9 November 2009 Secretary General participated in the 4th Session of GUAM Parliamentary Assembly held in Tbilisi, Georgia. The GUAM PA adopted Communiqué, and two Resolutions: on observer mission to Presidential elections in Ukraine of 17 January 2010 and changes to the Rules of Procedure, establishing Committee on regional security.
Secretary General, addressing the Parliamentary Assembly, focused on the significance of parliamentary cooperation and necessity to further facilitate support to cooperation in GUAM format, promoting of EU – GUAM cooperation and implementation projects and programs of cooperation in GUAM and «GUAM+» formats.
