31 March 2022, the Special Meeting of the GUAM Group on Strategic Communications was held via videoconference under the Moldovan chairmanship, which was attended by the relevant departments’ representatives of the Member States and the GUAM Secretariat.
The Parties discussed the possibilities of highlighting the invasion of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, the situation in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and the Republic of Moldova regarding Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, Transnistria. During the meeting, it was also considered the ways of disseminating information on the political, economic and humanitarian support provided by the GUAM Member States and the publication of appeals of the GUAM Secretary General on the invasion of the Russian Federation to Ukraine.
