On 20-21 January 2009, the meeting of experts to develop GUAM joint tourist product took place in new premises of the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv with participation of the representatives of travel companies of the GUAM Member States, the GUAM Secretary General and the representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
The participants discussed the issue concerning development of GUAM joint tourist product, targeting Japanese tourist market, underlined its perspectives and confirmed their readiness participate in its further elaboration and implementation.
They decided to prepare national components of a joint tourist product and to elaborate possible solutions related to the logistics of the appropriate tourist routes.
The participants agreed to hold their next meeting in May 2009 in the GUAM Secretariat.
