28-29 October 2019, under the chair of the Georgian Side, the 21st Meeting of the Working Group on Civil Emergency held at the GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv in which the representatives of national emergency agencies of the GUAM Member States and the Secretariat took part.
At the meeting, there was an exchange of information on the measures in warning and response to emergencies, as well as the development of cooperation of the GUAM Member States with other states and international organizations in this field.
The parties discussed the participation of the GUAM Member States in the measures to counter threats of a nuclear, radiation, chemical and biological nature and eliminate possible consequences, as well as the cooperation among the GUAM Member States on the legislative and legal framework in emergency prevention and liquidation its effects.
