20-21 June 2024, the 26th Meeting of the GUAM Working Group on Civil Emergency was held via videoconference with the participation of representatives of relevant departments of the GUAM Member States and Secretariat.
The participants considered Emergency Services’ principal tasks on protecting territories and population, and distinctions of activities under a state of war conditions. Moreover, they discussed an experience of humanitarian demining of de-occupied territories and cooperation with international partners – states and international organizations. In addition, information was heard about the current practice of the Member States in eliminating the consequences of natural and man-made disasters.
