On November, 6-7th, 2008 in Kiev, Second Kiev Security Forum, “Black-Caspian Region and European Energy Security” took place.
The representatives of the Ukrainian Government, international organisations, including GUAM, business circles and mass media from countries of the Black-Caspian Sea region, EU and USA took part in the forum.
The participants discussed a role of the Black-Caspian Sea region in maintaining European energy security.
The representative of the GUAM Secretariat, Program Coordinator on Economic Issues Mr. S.Tamirov, informed the participants of the Forum about cooperation in GUAM framework in the field of energy, in contributing to energy security of Europe and new technical and technological opportunities of the Secretariat.
