On December 7, 2017, in Vienna, Austria, the 31st Meeting of the GUAM Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs was held on the sidelines of the 24th OSCE Ministerial Council.
The Meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. E.Mammadyarov, Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mr. M.Janelidze (Chairman of the Meeting), Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Mr. A.Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Mr. P.Klimkin and GUAM Secretary General Mr. A.Efendiev.
During the Meeting, the issues of sectoral cooperation, interaction with partners and international organizations were discussed. The GUAM Action Plan on enhancing the sectoral cooperation, as well as the decision to transfer the Chairmanship to the Republic of Moldova from January 1, 2018, were adopted at the Meeting.
The Parties expressed their gratitude to the Georgian Chairmanship highlighting its fruitful work in 2017.
