20 December 2021, the 5th Joint Meeting of the Committees of the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly was held online, chaired by the Head of the Parliamentary delegation of Georgia.
The participants delivered presentations on the emerging security challenges, discussed the current state of affairs in connection with the fifth wave of COVID-19 pandemic and effectiveness of the measures, taken in the Member States to contain its spread. The participants in the Meeting also agreed upon the chairmanship of the Member States in Parliamentary Assembly Committees.
